Walking Taco Casserole

Ingredients:

1 lb Ground Beef
1 package Taco Seasoning
2/3 cup Water
Chili Cheese Fritos
1/2 can Cheddar Cheese Soup
1/4 cup Milk
1 cup Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)

Directions:

Browning the Beef:

In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until it’s no longer pink. Drain any excess fat and add in the taco seasoning and water.

Simmering the Seasoned Meat:

Simmer the seasoned meat on low heat for about 5 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed, and the meat is thoroughly coated in seasoning.

Layering the Fritos:

In an 8 x 8 baking dish, layer chili cheese Fritos on the bottom. Place the seasoned meat on top of the Fritos.

Cheese Sauce Creation:

In a saucepan, heat the cheddar cheese soup and milk over low heat. Once warm, pour the cheese mixture on top of the meat.

Mozzarella Magic:

Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the cheese mixture, creating a gooey and irresistible topping.

Baking Perfection:

Place the pan in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 12-14 minutes. Once the cheese is bubbly and golden, remove the pan from the oven.

Serving and Enjoying:

Scoop out your desired amount onto a plate and relish in the deliciousness of your Walking Taco Bake.
