Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 baking or roasting pan.
In a medium bowl whisk the egg, ketchup and worcestershire together.
Add the ground beef and all the rest of the ingredients except the hard-boiled eggs.
Use a fork to mix it together just until combined.
Add half to the pan and form it into a long, flat loaf about 2 inches thick.
Place the eggs lengthwise on the meat and then spoon the rest of it on top.
Use your hand to pat it into a loaf, gently packing it down around the eggs.
Cover the meatloaf in a thin layer of ketchup.
Bake 45 minutes. Let it sit 5 minutes before slicing.
